Shelby worked for several years as a TV meteorologist in Oklahoma City. First, as an intern for Gary England and then as the morning meteorologist at KOCO. She earned the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist title, won an Emmy for severe weather coverage, and was voted Best Morning Newscast in Oklahoma multiple years. She was also featured in the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Weather Exhibit.
Shelby has been named one of the Most Powerful Young Professionals in Oklahoma City, NextGen Under 30, and the Honorary Ring Recipient at the University of Oklahoma.
Outside of work, you can find Shelby enjoying the outdoors with her family. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Chance. They love going fishing, taking the dog on hikes, and traveling.
