Bryan N. Evans
Bryan N. Evans was born and raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He graduated as Valedictorian from Weatherford High School and went on to serve as Student Body President at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He received the Presidential Leadership Award from President Bill Clinton for his community and public involvement.
Before and after college, he was active in various local, state and federal political campaigns before serving as one of the directors of Congressman Lucas’ congressional campaign. Evans attended the University of Oklahoma’s College of Law as a Comfort Fellow where he graduated with honors. He is currently a partner with Evans & Davis and licensed to practice law in various state and federal courts throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
Evans is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. The Firm is a member of the Edmond Chamber of Commerce and Evans currently serves as an executive board member. Evans regularly teaches educational classes to lawyers and financial planners in the areas of estate planning and trusts. He is also an executive board member for the Edmond Public Schools Foundation where he currently serves as its President for the 2012-2013 academic year. Evans is a graduate of Leadership Edmond Class XXVII, as well as a member of the 2nd Century Donor Society with the University of Oklahoma’s College of Law. In 2012, he was named as one of Oklahoma’s 40 Under 40. He regularly volunteers with Edmond Public Schools and coaches youth sports at the YMCA.
Evans has been married to his wife, Erika, since 1998. They have twin daughters born in 2003 and a son born in 2005. The family resides in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Dustin A. Davis
Dustin A. Davis was born and raised in Duncan, Oklahoma. He graduated from Duncan High School and went on to serve as Student Body President at Oklahoma Christian University where he received his undergraduate degree. After graduating from Oklahoma Christian, Dustin worked as a Corporate Banker in the Oklahoma City Metro area while completing his Masters in Business Administration.
He has received a number of state and national honors for his involvement in church and community nonprofit organizations. During and after college he has served on several board of directors for nonprofit organizations, including Oklahoma Christian University’s Board of Development, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Edmond Historical Society. Since graduating from college, Davis has traveled throughout Europe and Africa and supports a number of educational programs as well as indigenous mission ventures in developing African countries. Davis graduated from Oklahoma City University’s School of Law and participated in an international study program at the historic Brasenose College at Oxford University through the Oklahoma University College of Law. Davis is a founding partner of the Evans & Davis Law Firm. The Firm and Davis are both members of the Edmond Chamber of Commerce. Davis is currently participating in Leadership Edmond Class XXVIII, as well as a member of the Second Century Organization through the Oklahoma Heritage Association. He is licensed to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma District Courts, as well as the Federal District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Evans & Davis provides estate planning and corporate legal service to clients from their Oklahoma office located in Downtown Edmond, Oklahoma, as well as their Dallas office located in Highland Park.
Jerry D. Balentine
Jerry has practiced law in central Oklahoma since 1975. His practice has been devoted exclusively to estate planning and elder law. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar; a founding member of WealthCounsel, LLC; and certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. In addition, he is a Fellow in the Esperti Peterson Institute Masters Program and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as the Oklahoma City Tax Lawyers. In 2000, he became an adjunct instructor of The Academy of Multidisciplinary Practice at Michigan State University. He became an accredited attorney for assisting people in obtaining their VA Benefits in 2008. He is named in 2012 Super Lawyers® and Best Law Firms US News - Best Lawyers for 2012-2013.
In addition to these prestigious professional affiliations, Jerry is a contributing author of two popular estate planning books, Legacy, Plan Protect, and Preserve Your Estate and Generations: Planning Your Legacy. In 2008, he was a contributing author of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants handbook, “The CPA’s Guide to Long-Term Care Planning.”
An often requested speaker on estate planning and elder law, he frequently presents seminars explaining why trusts are often the planning method of choice for protecting your assets from probate and how they can help protect your estate from nursing home costs, income and estate taxes and lawsuits. His expertise in estate planning and elder law has helped him build a successful practice throughout Central Oklahoma. *Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation as accredited by the American Bar Association. Certification of attorney’s specialty is not recognized by the Oklahoma Supreme Court except for Admiralty Law and Patent-Copyright Law.
Rachel Morris
Rachel Morris graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from The College of Santa Fe. As an undergraduate, she was involved in the Associated Student Government, and was awarded the King Leadership Scholarship.
Rachel attended the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University, where she earned a Juris Doctorate as well as a Bachelor of Civil Law. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, and the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court. Rachel S. Morris founded Stoddard Morris, PLLC in 2009. Since that time, she has focused her practice in the area of family law.
In 2010, Rachel was named one of 40 Under Forty for OKC Biz magazine, and in 2011, she was named as one of the Top 20 Under 40 professionals for the Edmond Business Times. Within her community, Rachel serves as the Past President of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Associate Board and the President-Elect for the Downtown Exchange Club for the Prevention of Child Abuse. She is active in the Edmond Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Edmond YMCA Council. Rachel was selected to be a member of Leadership Edmond, Class XXVII, and is also involved with the Oklahoma City Campus of LifeChurch, where she and her husband Scott lead a lifegroup.
Spencer S. Chaffin
Spencer S. Chaffin was born and raised in Grapevine, Texas. He graduated from Faith Christian School of Grapevine as President of the school’s Student Government Association. He went on to attend Charleston Southern University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in History.
While at Charleston Southern, Chaffin served on the University’s Student Government Association, holding multiple officer positions. He graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in May of 2012 as a member of the honors fraternity, Phi Delta Phi.
Throughout his life, Chaffin has been actively involved in various church, volunteer and community activities. Chaffin is currently an associate attorney with Evans & Davis.
Colby L. Robertson
Colby L. Robertson was raised in Oologah, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oologah High School and went on to Northeastern State University as a member of the President’s Leadership Class. Colby was active in many student organizations while at Northeastern State and graduated as a Jack Kaufman Outstanding Senior with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
Robertson graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in December 2011 and is currently an associate attorney with Evans & Davis. He is licensed to practice in all Oklahoma State Courts and the Western District of Oklahoma Federal Court.
Robertson is a member of the American Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is also a member of the Edmond Chamber of Commerce, Edmond Young Professionals, and various business development groups. Robertson regularly speaks to employee groups and financial planners in the areas of estate planning and business succession planning.
Robertson is a sports and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys hiking, playing basketball, biking, and white water kayaking. He and his wife Holly reside in Edmond, Oklahoma with their two dogs, Jack and Louie.
Mitch D. McCuistian
Mitch D. McCuistian was born and raised in Claremore, Oklahoma. He graduated as Valedictorian from Claremore High School and went on to attend the University of Arkansas on an athletic scholarship. Mitch then shifted his focus and served in numerous leadership positions within the Student Government and the Sam M. Walton College of Business. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance and minor in Marketing. McCuistian then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he served as Class President. He was a member of the American Indian Law Review and Office of Professional and Career Development Student Advisory Board. McCuistian was one of twenty students nationwide to receive the prestigious American Bar Association Legal Opportunity Scholarship. In addition, he was awarded the Henry Kent Human Services Award for his exceptional leadership qualities and concern for society’s inequities. McCuistian is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. In his free time, he is involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma City as a member of the Resource Board, and he enjoys attending church, watching sports, and following politics on both the local and national level. McCuistian is currently an associate attorney with Evans & Davis.
Angela L. Travis
In 2004, Angela began her work for the Firm as an intern while she was a student at the University of Oklahoma.
Angela Travis obtained her Juris Doctorate degree with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2005. She has served as an associate of the Firm since that time. The primary focus of Ms. Travis’s practice is on estate and trust administration, estate tax, probate and guardianship law.
Angela and her husband live in Midwest City with their three children. She is an active member of the Midwest City Community Church of the Nazarene.
Brock A. Lytton
Brock Lytton serves as Firm Manager and is a native of the Wichita, KS area where he attended Sedgwick High School. He went on to receive his Bachelors of Business Administration in Management, as well as his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Oklahoma Christian University.
During his time as a student at OC, Lytton was an officer in his social service club, as well as being highly involved in a number of events on campus. In addition to his formal education, Brock is a licensed real-estate sales associate in the State of Oklahoma. With a background in management, sales, marketing, client relations, and finance, this allows Brock to effectively manage the firm operations. Brock and his wife Meagan reside in Edmond, OK and are very involved in the work at Memorial Road Church of Christ, as well as enjoy traveling and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball.
Lauri McDougall
Lauri McDougall serves the firm as a legal assistant. She moved to Edmond in 1987, from San Antonio, Texas and attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Decision Science.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the Edmond Animal Welfare Unit through Paws for Life, Inc., which works in conjunction with the City of Edmond to assist with exercising, socializing, and providing health care for all adoptable animals.
Lauri brings to Evans & Davis many years of experience in administration and management.
Karleen Street
Karleen serves the Firm as a paralegal. She joined the Firm in 1990, where she provided paralegal services for the trust and funding department; assisted the attorneys in estate planning, real estate, corporate and trust administration matters; and coordinated transactions with out-of-state counsel and funding. She brought with her a distinguished record of service in banking, where she provided staff support in bookkeeping, the loan department, teller services, and served as an assistant to the attorneys in the legal research department for the FDIC. In addition, while working for a company in the oil and gas industry, she gained experience in minerals, and oil and gas transactions. She has been married to her husband, Jerry, since 1986. They have two beautiful grown daughters, and currently reside in Piedmont, which is also home to their two dogs and cat.
Tanda Ulm
Tanda Ulm serves the Firm as office and marketing coordinator. She joined the Firm in 1997.
Born and raised in Western Kansas, her love of the small town atmosphere is reflected in her professional abilities as an administrative assistant and has provided many years of career opportunities in customer service and sales with service based companies in Kansas and Oklahoma prior to her career with the Evans & Davis.
Tanda and her husband have been residents of Edmond since 1991. They enjoy their family and traveling.
Kathy J. White
Kathy J. White serves the Firm as Director of Client Relations. She is a native Texan and grew up in Aledo. Kathy has a professional background in public relations, media relations, fundraising, and special events planning.
She was associated with several non-profits in Fort Worth including Cook Children’s Medical Center, Camp Fire USA and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Kathy is involved with the Edmond Chamber of Commerce, and has been a part of organizations including PRSA, IABC and AFP. She also has a real estate background as a relocation director and sales associate in both Oklahoma and Texas.
Kathy is truly a people-person and has extensive professional experience to assist our clients in a variety of needs.
Michelle Siebert
Michelle Siebert serves the Firm as Rachel Morris's Assistant. A native Oklahoman, Michelle attended Edmond Memorial High School and the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was a stay at home mother. Michelle and her husband enjoy supporting local theater, traveling, being actively involved in their church and spending time with their three children.
